These two lovely Romances for violin and orchestra are not as often performed as his famous violin concerto, but are beloved in their own right. Ideal transitional pieces for advancing players not quite ready for the demands of the concerto, they also make beautiful additions to a professional’s concert repertoire. This edition for violin and piano contains editorial markings by Carl Flesch. Published by Edition Peters. Difficulty: ASTA grade 4 NOTE: For the Edition Peters version of this piece edited by David Oistrakh, please see item 1043 206.
